Apple Martin brought her parents, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, together on a special occasion this past Friday as she graduated from the esteemed Vanderbilt University in Nashville.
The former couple, who famously coined the term “conscious uncoupling” during their separation 12 years ago, were both present at the graduation ceremony held at FirstBank Stadium.
Joining them was Gwyneth Paltrow’s current husband, TV producer Brad Falchuk, to whom she has been married since 2018.
Apple’s younger brother, Moses, a sophomore at Brown University, was also there to celebrate his sister’s achievement.
The 21-year-old Apple looked every bit the accomplished graduate, donning a classic black gown over a white dress and stylish Ray-Ban sunglasses as she walked with her well-known blended family.
Having started her studies at Vanderbilt in 2022, Apple pursued a major in Law, History, and Society. Vanderbilt stands as one of the nation’s top universities, boasting a competitive acceptance rate of just 5.3%.

Proud mom Paltrow looked chic at the ceremony, wearing a pale blue dress with a button-down red jacket and matching scarlet high heels. The Oscar-winning blonde could hardly keep the smile off her face as she watched her daughter graduate.
Meanwhile, Falchuk was a model step-dad, clad in a navy sweater over a pale blue shirt and berry-colored tie with dark beige slacks and brown suede boots.
Apple took to her Insta Stories to share a photo where she was in her cap and gown with black sunglasses on. She held up her diploma as she smiled but did not add a caption.
There was no sign on Paltrow’s mother, Emmy winning actress Blythe Danner.

Though she has pursued theater as a member of the Vanderbilt Original Cast and has directed student productions, Apple was not a drama major.
However, she has already secured a top Hollywood agent at powerhouse agency CAA, and has detailed her dreams of becoming an actress.
Last year, Apple told Interview Magazine how she loves theater ‘more than anything’.
‘I would love to do theater because I adore it so much. I’ve obviously never done film before, but I’ve been trying to get involved in student films. I was born a theater kid.’
‘I don’t wanna be a singer. I like musical theater, but getting onstage by yourself to sing is so terrifying, I love dancing and I love acting. My dream is to act.’

Meanwhile, Apple previously made headlines after it was claimed that she had been expelled from her elite Los Angeles high school for bullying – allegations she later denied.
Addressing the claims on Instagram last year, she said: ‘Hi! I didn’t wanna respond but this narrative is completely false and has gotten so out of hand. I have never been expelled from any school, especially not for bullying anyone.
‘I completely understand ppl not liking me and that is okay! The internet is a place where ppl can share their opinions.’
Last week the graduate took to Instagram to show off her look during the graduation rehearsal

Her Oscar-winning mother said she was ‘SO proud!!’ of her mini-me child
‘But this rumor is completely untrue, I am not that type of person and anyone who is close to me knows that.’
Martin’s mother was the person who publicly announced in 2022 that her mini-me was beginning college. ‘My daughter went to college in the fall,’ began the blonde.
Paltrow also said that it was hard on her emotionally to say farewell to little Apple. ‘It was horrible. It was truly horrifying,’ she said. ‘I was sick to my stomach, bursting into tears.”
