Trump's blunt response to Iran peace proposal

In a lengthy and pointed commentary, U.S. President Donald Trump declared that Iran’s days of “laughing” are over, directing much of his criticism towards the policies of the Obama administration.

Trump labeled former President Obama as “the ultimate pushover” and criticized him as a “foolish and ineffective leader.”

“For nearly five decades, Iran has been toying with the United States and the world, dragging its feet at every opportunity. They finally hit the jackpot when Barack Hussein Obama assumed the presidency. Not only did he favor them, he practically aligned with them, sidelining Israel and other allies while gifting Iran a significant and powerful boost,” Trump asserted.

“Billions of dollars, including a hefty $1.7 billion in cash, were flown into Tehran, essentially handed over without hesitation. Banks across Washington, Virginia, and Maryland were emptied out—it was such an enormous sum that the Iranian officials were baffled by their good fortune,” he continued.

“They had never encountered such wealth before and likely never will again. The funds were unloaded from planes in suitcases, leaving the Iranians astonished at their windfall. They had found the greatest pushover in Obama, whom Trump described as a “foolish and ineffective leader.”

“He was a catastrophe as our ‘Leader,’ though not as bad as what Trump refers to as ‘Sleepy Joe Biden!’”

“For 47 years the Iranians have been “tapping” us along, keeping us waiting, killing our people with their roadside bombs, destroying protests, and recently wiping out 42,000 innocent, unarmed protestors, and laughing at our now GREAT AGAIN Country.

“They will be laughing no longer!”
