Polish MEP threatens to sue Starmer over ban on entering UK

Thousands of Polish citizens marched through the streets of Warsaw to celebrate Independence Day, with an estimated 100,000 participants, including families and children. The march, which featured strong patriotic and religious symbolism, was initiated by far-right groups and has long been controversial for promoting extremist ideologies such as fascism, antisemitism, and racism. This year's event, which began at Warsaw's Roman Dmowski Roundabout and ended at the PGE National Stadium, drew further attention as Polish MEP Dominik Tarczynski invited British far-right activist Tommy Robinson and his supporters to attend. A prominent Polish politician, aligned with the far-right, has declared his intention to pursue legal action against Sir Keir Starmer after being denied entry into the UK. This decision comes as the politician aimed to participate in the Unite the Kingdom rally, organized by Tommy Robinson.

Dominik Tarczynski, who serves as a member of the European Parliament, found himself among at least seven far-right individuals barred by the UK Government ahead of the event scheduled for Saturday in central London.

Tarczynski, an advocate for a ‘zero illegal migration’ stance, revealed that the Home Office had revoked his electronic travel authorization, which would have permitted his visit to Britain.

The authorities reportedly justified this action by suggesting that his attendance might not align with the public interest or welfare.

Earlier this year, Tarczynski faced significant backlash after he praised U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in a social media post, following the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Renee Good by an ICE officer in Minneapolis.

Writing on X about his ban, he said: ‘Starmer will be sued by me. Not the government, not the Home Office but Starmer personally. Once you lose the next election, communist, we’ll meet in court!’
