Eric Trump accuses Jen Psaki, MS NOW of airing ‘blatant lies’ about China trip  – says he’s suing both

Eric Trump has revealed plans to file a lawsuit against MS Now and its host, Jen Psaki, following allegations that he serves as a board member for a company supposedly pursuing business ventures in China.

Jen Psaki, the former White House press secretary and current host of “The Briefing with Jen Psaki,” made these claims during a recent monologue. She insinuated that Eric Trump accompanied his father, former President Donald Trump, on a significant trip to China to advance his personal business interests.

Countering these assertions, Eric Trump took to X to express his outrage. “Contrary to her monologue and blatant lies, I have NEVER been on the board of ALT5 — not now, not ever,” he stated emphatically. “Any person with basic access to Google and willing to open a company’s annual report or proxy statements would know this.”

He further clarified, “I have had zero involvement in any merger discussions involving any public entity I do not run or control. I have zero business interests in China. No properties, no investments, nothing!” He emphasized that his sole purpose for joining the trip was personal, stating, “I joined this trip for one reason: as a loving son who adores my father and wouldn’t miss being by his side for this incredible moment.”

In her Wednesday segment, Psaki did acknowledge that Eric Trump’s spokesperson had stated his presence was purely in a personal capacity. She noted that he would not participate in meetings and had no business ties in China.

During the Wednesday segment, Psaki noted Eric Trump’s spokesperson had said he was joining his father in a personal capacity and that he would not be involved in meetings and doesn’t have any business associations in China.

But then Psaki declared, “Eric is on the board of a company called Alt5 Sigma,” and she cited a Financial Times report alleging the company “has a memorandum of understanding to explore a potential deal with a Chinese computer chip manufacturer to build AI data centers and a whole bunch of other AI related stuff.”

The Financial Times report, and SEC filings reviewed by The Post, however, note Eric Trump is a board “observer” – not a board member.

Psaki’s insinuation was that Eric Trump joining his father on the historic trip to Beijing amounted to a conflict of interest.

MS NOW did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.

Eric Trump noted that as the president and administration official met with Chinese leader Xi Jinping and his delegation, he and his wife, Lara Trump, “went to the Great Wall of China.”

“More to come…” he teased.
