Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of former President Donald Trump, has officially tied the knot with his fiancée, Bettina Anderson, in a ceremony held in West Palm Beach, Florida. The couple plans to continue their celebrations over the weekend in the Bahamas, according to reports.
The wedding of Trump Jr. and socialite Bettina Anderson was confirmed by NBC News, marking a significant event for both families. Anderson hails from a distinguished local family, with her father being the notable banker and philanthropist, Harry Loy Anderson Jr.
TMZ reported that the couple’s wedding ceremony is set to unfold on a private island in the Bahamas. The site noted that Brad McPherson, a seasoned real estate attorney with long-standing ties to the Trump family, officiated the initial legal proceedings. This legal formality was necessary before the couple’s planned celebration outside of the U.S.
Former President Donald Trump had previously shared the news of his son’s engagement to Anderson at a White House Christmas party back in December, as reported by various news outlets.
Sources revealed to People magazine that the couple opted for a Bahamian ceremony to ensure an intimate affair and to schedule the event ahead of America’s upcoming 250th anniversary celebrations. The decision was also influenced by other personal considerations, the publication noted.

Meanwhile, insiders told People the couple wanted a ceremony in the Bahamas in order to keep the gathering more intimate and to make sure it happened before America’s 250th birthday celebrations amid other concerns, the outlet reported Saturday.
“July 4 belongs to America, and early fall is not a good time to plan a wedding in south Florida or on the islands due to questionable bad weather, so they decided to do it now in a place they both love,” a source explained.
Anderson recently held a bridal shower at Mar-a-Lago in April. Therefore, an insider said, she did not want to repeat a wedding at the location on such a short timeline.
Per the NBC article, “Trump Jr. operates the Trump Organization with his brother, Eric Trump, and has been a fixture alongside his father at political events. Anderson is a committee member at the Project Paradise Film Fund, which is focused on protecting Florida’s environment.”
