Truck driver goes off on Delaney Hall anti-ICE protesters after they block him from doing his job — as Antifa thugs battle agents

A gripping video captures the moment a garbage truck driver confronts anti-ICE protesters who obstructed his path outside Newark’s Delaney Hall immigration center. The incident unfolded amidst escalating tensions as Antifa activists clashed with agents in an ongoing series of disturbances.

The driver, visibly frustrated, questioned the demonstrators’ actions, exclaiming, “What’s wrong with you all?” The footage, released by Freedom News, shows his exasperation as he confronted the protesters on Wednesday night.

Despite the heated exchange, the driver continued to express his frustration at the group protesting the conditions within the New Jersey detention facility.

The demonstration initially began during the Memorial Day weekend, when anti-ICE protesters—many donning keffiyeh scarves and brandishing Antifa flags—gathered outside the center. This followed reports of a hunger and labor strike involving hundreds of ICE detainees protesting conditions within the 1,000-bed facility.

Chaotic scenes unfolded outside Delaney Hall — with immigration agents hitting unruly demonstrators with batons.

The anti-ICE protesters started gathering outside the center — many of them wearing keffiyeh scarves and waving Antifa flags — during the Memorial Day weekend when hundreds of ICE detainees inside reportedly went on a hunger and labor strike, to protest conditions inside the 1,000-bed facility.

However, Homeland Security chief Markwayne Mullin said there is no ongoing hunger strike at Delaney Hall and that there are “no subprime conditions.” He criticized “New Jersey sanctuary politicians” who he said demanded access to the facility for chasing “fundraising clicks.”

“Dozens of New Jersey sanctuary politicians chose to spend their Memorial Day weekend smearing ICE law enforcement,” Mullin wrote in a fiery post on X Monday.

“They should be thanking our law enforcement for removing these murderers, pedophiles, rapists and drug traffickers from their state.”

Homeland Security rubbished hunger strike claims again on Tuesday — emphasizing detainees are being “provided with 3 meals a day, clean water, clothing, bedding, showers, soap, toiletries, and opportunities to communicate with their family members and lawyers.”

“Aliens are also provided comprehensive healthcare, including medical, dental, and mental health services as available, and access to medical appointments and 24-hour emergency care,” the agency said.

“For many illegal aliens this is the BEST healthcare they have received their entire lives.”
