Authorities in Florida have launched an investigation following the discovery of a woman’s body on a beach Wednesday evening.
The Hollywood Police Department has confirmed that the body belongs to a 30-year-old Caucasian woman. The scene was active with investigators meticulously searching the area for any evidence.
“Preliminary findings suggest the woman was engaged in snorkeling or diving near Dr. Von D Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park on June 3rd,” stated the Hollywood Police Department. They are collaborating with Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation investigators to unravel the circumstances of the incident.
The identity of the woman remains undisclosed as officials await confirmation from her next of kin.
