Rain chances are not far behind the humidity hike.
ORLANDO, Fla. – The pleasant spell of cooler mornings and lower humidity that Central Florida has enjoyed in early June is set to conclude, as the region’s typical weather patterns make a comeback this weekend.
Sunday is expected to bring dry conditions with a blend of sunshine and clouds, but residents will start to feel an increase in humidity and temperature. As winds shift to a southeasterly direction, temperatures are forecasted to rise into the 90s, bringing back a noticeable mugginess.
As the workweek kicks off, the dry conditions will linger, with minimal chances of rain and temperatures reaching the low 90s. However, the heat index, or “feels like” temperature, will approach the upper 90s.
By mid-week, the likelihood of rain will grow as moisture levels in the atmosphere elevate in anticipation of a cold front moving into the Southeast by Wednesday.
This shift will trigger scattered showers and thunderstorms beginning Wednesday and continuing into the weekend.
