Second Menendez brother denied parole
Fox News contributor Paul Mauro appeared on “Fox & Friends Weekend” to discuss parole boards’ decisions to reject release bids from both Menendez brothers and to provide new details about the investigation into accused Idaho college killer Bryan Kohberger.
Three decades after Lyle and Erik Menendez were convicted of killing their parents, Jose and Kitty Menendez, one of Jose Menendez’s former business associates says he is still searching for answers about what drove the crime.
In his new memoir, “Karmic Winds: Reflections from the ‘Smartest Guy in Hollywood,’” Peter M. Hoffman reflects on his ascent in the entertainment business, including his time as president and CEO of Carolco Pictures. The studio produced major films such as “Terminator 2: Judgment Day,” “Basic Instinct” and the “Rambo” franchise.
Hoffman later served time in federal prison after being convicted in a Louisiana film tax credit fraud case. He has consistently denied wrongdoing and has continued to contest those convictions. He was also depicted in Netflix’s “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.”
Erik and Lyle Menendez remain incarcerated at Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego County.
