A 17-year-old was shot in the foot during chaotic celebrations in Times Square following the Knicks’ historic NBA Finals victory, according to police.
The shooting happened around 2 a.m. near 42nd Street and Broadway, authorities said, around the same time disorder erupted in the area as some revelers allegedly vandalized and set fire to school buses in the heart of the tourist district.
The teenager suffered a gunshot wound to the left foot and was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Police said three people identified as persons of interest were taken into custody, and officers recovered a firearm during the investigation.
Authorities did not immediately provide a total number of arrests, but said multiple people were detained as officers responded to the unrest tied to the Knicks’ first NBA championship in 50 years.
Among those arrested was at least one person accused of punching a police officer, sources told The Post.
A livestreamer was also cuffed for climbing on top of an Amazon car.
