Jennifer Garner’s son Samuel looked close to surpassing his famous mom in height during a recent Los Angeles outing.
The 54-year-old actress was seen with the teenager, whom she shares with her 53-year-old ex-husband Ben Affleck, as the pair picked up drinks and visited a bank in Brentwood.
Garner and Affleck’s older children, Violet, 20, and Fin, 17, were not seen during the outing.
The Alias star kept her look relaxed, wearing a baby blue crew-neck sweater with light-wash jeans and white sneakers.
Samuel also opted for a laid-back outfit, stepping out in a gray zip-up hoodie and black sweatpants.
Garner is 5-foot-8, but Samuel may soon have a significant height advantage if he takes after Affleck, who stands 6-foot-3.

Garner paid tribute to her ex-husband on Father’s Day in a thoughtful Instagram post.
She shared never-before-seen snaps of the Oscar winner with their kids and remembered her late father William.
The star wrote, ‘My sisters and I loved to spoil our dad; he never wanted for fresh baked cookies or a bowl of ice cream.
‘I see the way my kids dote on their dad and I’m happy for them. To love and be loved by a great dad is a gift.’
‘Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads and to the kids of dads, too,’ she ended the sweet note.
Garner and Affleck were married from 2005 until their separation in 2015, and their divorce was finalized in 2018.
They are sometimes seen running errands with their children, demonstrating their amicable co-parenting relationship.
And the friendly exes have been known to spend holidays together post-divorce.

During an appearance on Bustle’s One Nightstand podcast in February, Garner explained: ‘When your kids grow up in two separate households, I become mom and dad, and he becomes dad and mom.
‘You kind of can’t help it, right? Because you don’t have the benefit of both sides, the yin and yang being in the same house, so you have to have a bit of both in the way you parent.’
She added, ‘There’s a little bit of loss in that, but there’s also something gained in that…you also just learn. It’s made me let go and not focus so much on the bringing up.’
Affleck was married to Jennifer Lopez from 2022 to 2024, and recently surrendered his share of their marital mansion as they struggled to sell it.
Days ago Lopez enjoyed an Ariana Grande concert in LA with his child Fin and one of her twins, 18-year-old Oskar.
