'Stranger Things' star Millie Bobby Brown surprises adorable NYC kids with acting lesson: 'She’s so British'

Millie Bobby Brown gave a group of Upper West Side students a surprise taste of West End-style star power.

The “Stranger Things” standout dropped in on a second-grade class for an acting lesson so unexpected that some of the children could hardly process who was standing in front of them.

“The ‘Stranger Things’ main character, I saw her in person today. I know that she’s not real … right?” a boy named Prince wondered aloud after the unforgettable classroom visit.

Brown visited PS 84 for an episode of the popular web series “Celebrity Substitute,” which places famous faces in the role of guest teachers for lessons ranging from music video production to personal style.

The 10 students had no clue the “Enola Holmes” star would be waiting for them, and the room instantly erupted when they walked in and spotted her near the stage.

“Hi Ms. Millie!” the children shouted in excitement.

Brown, 22, opened the session by asking the young performers whether they knew some of the basic vocabulary used on a film or television set.

But the lesson quickly took a funny turn as Brown’s English accent left the budding actors struggling to make out some of the industry terms.

“She’s so British I can smell her accent,” quipped little Harley, who has a few paid acting gigs under her belt, and offered her own advice to the movie star.

The small star described her knowledge of acting as pretending to do something rather than actually doing it, as she followed up with an impromptu demonstration of how to “fake” riding a rollercoaster.

Brown taught the class improv, scene building, and offered pointers on how to show more emotion.

Volunteers came up and gave hysterical facial expressions as the English actress hid her smile behind her clipboard.

But the nosy kids seemed more interested in Brown’s marriage to Jake Bongiovi, the son of music legend Jon Bon Jovi.

When asked why one would like to be happily married in the future, a rowdy red-haired child named Joseph exclaimed, “I want to be married because I want to have someone I can hang out with all the time!”

The star’s visit wasn’t the only jaw-dropping surprise – the children’s eyes filled with glee when brand new stage equipment for the students’ drama department was rolled into the room.

The school was gifted by Amazon rehearsal mirrors, sets, costumes, lights, and other filming equipment.

A few teachers came out at the end of the lesson as their hearts welled with joy at being able to witness the happiness on the faces of the kids enjoying the brand new equipment.

”They’ve been working so hard, so they deserve this. This is for them,” Ms. Toni Ann, one of the teachers, said.
