Kanye West settles sexual assault lawsuit from ex-assistant

Kanye West has reached a settlement in the sexual harassment lawsuit brought by his former personal assistant, Lauren Pisciotta.

Attorneys for Pisciotta noted in court documents reviewed by the Daily Mail on Wednesday that the case had been settled as of July 23.

Her legal team described the settlement as “unconditional” and said they plan to request dismissal of the lawsuit within 45 days of July 23.

The court filings did not reveal any details about the terms of the agreement.

“The matter has been resolved,” Pisciotta’s attorney, Arick Fudali, told the Daily Mail on Wednesday.

The Daily Mail said it contacted representatives for West for comment, but had not received a response.

Pisciotta worked in multiple capacities for West from 2021-2023, serving as a personal assistant and chief of staff for endeavors including his work in music and fashion.

She initially named West in a lawsuit in 2024, claiming that he had asked her for sex, sent her sexually-charged text messages and masturbated in her presence while on a private jet.

In legal documents filed in July of 2025 previously reviewed by the Daily Mail, Pisciotta claimed West had ‘sexually harassed and assaulted’ her on numerous occasions. West denied all of the allegations made through his attorneys.

Pisciotta told the court in a filing last year that she protested when West had tried to kiss her multiple times, telling him it was ‘not professional.’

On an occasion when Pisciotta said she had worked with West on material for his album Donda, she told the court he had asked her up to his hotel room.

Once there, Pisciotta told the court that West had ‘abruptly laid down in his bed and insisted that Ms. Pisciotta lay beside him.’

Pisciotta said in the legal filing that she did so ‘reluctantly,’ at which time West began speaking about sex in graphic terms as she ‘continued to deflect his advances.’

Pisciotta claimed in the 2025 filing that West ‘stroked his penis over his pants with one hand and forcibly touched her vagina with the other hand,’ adding that she ‘immediately told [him] to stop,’ and he soon fell asleep, when she left.

On the same trip, Pisciotta told the court that West had asked to use the shower in her room, as he ‘pushed the door open and proceeded directly into the bathroom.’

Pisciotta told the court that he had come out donning a ‘towel covering the lower half of his body’ and then ‘dropped the towel from his waist to expose his penis.’

She said that he had pinned her up against a bed and positioned his ‘body to pin and restrain’ her, at which time he sexually assaulted her.

‘As Ms. Pisciotta frantically pled for Ye to stop, Ye forced his penis into her mouth. Ms. Pisciotta froze in shock and fear but continued to plead with Ye and beg him,’ lawyers for Pisciotta told the court.

Pisciotta said in legal documents that West had made to her ‘a sincere apology’ at the time, but continued with his pattern of harassment.

A rep for West told the Daily Mail in a statement last year that ‘each new revision’ to Pisciotta’s case ‘contradicts the others’ and that ‘each is more absurd and outlandish than all previous claims combined.

‘Does Ms. Pisciotta actually believe her confabulations? We cannot know. But this breathless new installment of fantasy fiction discredits all past, present and future testimony.’
