Powerball Winning Numbers for July 29, 2026: Did Anyone Hit the Jackpot?

Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing put an estimated $668 million jackpot up for grabs.

With no ticket matching all the winning numbers, the Powerball grand prize has climbed again, reaching an estimated $707 million for the next drawing.

The jackpot’s cash option, the one most winners typically choose, is now estimated at $309.7 million before taxes.

Although the top prize went unclaimed, one player narrowly missed it. A ticket sold in Maryland matched all five white balls but not the Powerball, earning a $1 million prize in Wednesday’s drawing.

This marked the fourth drawing since the United Kingdom joined the hunt for the jackpot.

The winning numbers for Wednesday’s drawing were 30-36-40-42-57, with Powerball 2. The Power Play multiplier was 2x.

When are Powerball drawings and how much do tickets cost?

Powerball drawings take place three nights a week — Monday, Wednesday and Saturday — and are broadcast live at about 10:59 p.m. Eastern time, or 7:59 p.m. Pacific. Ticket sales generally close roughly an hour before the drawing, though cutoff times can differ by state.

A Powerball ticket costs $2 per play. Players select five numbers from 1 to 69 and one Powerball number from 1 to 26, or they can let the computer generate the numbers with a Quick Pick.

For an extra $1 per play, players can add Power Play, which multiplies non-jackpot prizes by 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 times, depending on the multiplier drawn that night. Powerball is sold in 45 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the United Kingdom.
