Rachel Uchitel is recovering after a dramatic plastic surgery transformation aimed at restoring a more youthful, natural-looking appearance.
The 51-year-old, who became widely known in 2009 as Tiger Woods’ first publicly identified mistress, recently underwent a series of cosmetic procedures, including a deep-plane facelift, a tightening brow lift, under-eye fat transfer, a chin implant, a “columella” nose revision and the dissolving of extensive facial filler.
Uchitel spent nine and a half hours in surgery with board-certified celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Ira Savetsky, who was recently recognized by The Hollywood Reporter as one of America’s top cosmetic doctors.
She is now recuperating in a luxury hotel suite in New York, where she spoke with Our News Outlet about choosing to have another round of cosmetic surgery less than a year after receiving an injectable Brazilian butt lift.
Uchitel said her decision came after years of facial fillers and laser treatments that, in her view, went too far and left her face looking swollen and older rather than refreshed.
“I’m 51 and I’m not trying to defy Mother Nature or look like a different person. I simply wanted to look like a fresher, more natural version of myself,” she explained.

‘I realized that some of the things I had done over the years to avoid ageing, particularly fillers, had actually begun to age and distort my face.
‘I spent two weeks dissolving filler before surgery, but Dr. Savetsky still encountered a significant amount of residual filler and scar tissue. I also learned that certain laser and energy-based treatments can contribute to tissue changes and scarring.’
To achieve her youthful look, Uchitel had to dig up some pre-surgery photos of herself to use as a reference – which included old tabloid magazine covers from her affair with Woods.
‘I had to use those photos for examples of what I used to look like before fillers,’ she laughed.
The journalist, who currently hosts the hit podcast Miss Understood with Rachel Uchitel, said that she decided to go public with her surgery journey to show her fans the true reality of cosmetic procedures in 2026.
‘I want women to see what happens between the polished before-and-after photographs, including the swelling, bruising, discomfort and emotional side of recovery,’ she said.
Uchitel’s social media videos have already won praise by her listeners and celebrity friends, with former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Siggy Flicker writing: ‘You look so gorgeous already. Wow! Hope you have a speedy recovery.’

Facelifts have exploded in popularity since Kris Jenner had a SMAS-based facelift and deep neck lift from Dr Steven Levine.
Beverly Hills-based plastic surgeon Dr Deepak Dugar, who is famous for his signature ‘scarless’ nose jobs, told Our News Outlet that patients are increasingly seeking out deep-plane and SMAS-based facelifts for their natural results.
‘I think deep-plane facelifts have become so popular because patients are asking for a different kind of result now,’ he explained.
‘They want real rejuvenation, but they still want to look like themselves,’ he continued.
‘Instead of relying primarily on pulling the skin tighter, a deep-plane facelift repositions the deeper tissues of the face, which can allow the skin to settle more naturally.
‘It really reflects where aesthetic surgery is heading overall: less of that obvious, “done” look and more of a refreshed version of the person who was already there.’
Dr Dugar, who has treated stars like Sami Sheen and Mia Khalifa, also said that the natural approach has extended to other procedures like rhinoplasty too.

Uchitel has been dabbling in various cosmetic procedures since her 50th birthday.
In January, the star revealed that she’d had sculpting injections in her buttocks just a week before her wedding to Palm Beach-based CEO Dan Donovan.
Uchitel originally wanted a full BBL, but was told by ‘the best surgeons in the country’ that she didn’t have enough fat on her body for the procedure.
‘What I wanted was a skinny BBL – nothing overdone, nothing dramatic. Just a little more lift and shape so I looked fit and athletic,’ she explained on Instagram.
‘Leading up to my wedding, I was in the gym at least four times a week, and no matter what I did, that lift just wasn’t happening,’ Uchitel continued.
She then started researching injectable sculpting options, also known as non-surgical BBLs, until she landed on celebrity surgeon Dr Robert Dorfman.
‘Literally a week before my wedding, I flew to New York, walked into his gorgeous office, and in less than 30 minutes I had a new butt,’ she gushed.
‘No incisions. No downtime. Painless. It feels completely real, and it lasts about three years.’

Uchitel said that the procedure was ‘worth every penny,’ before making a cheeky reference to her new husband.
‘My butt hasn’t looked this good since I was 21 – and I’m 50! And I can attest, as can my husband, this butt feels completely real,’ she wrote.
Uchitel’s big reveal comes just days after she and her security CEO husband tied the knot in a lavish three-day ceremony in Florida’s Palm Beach on New Year’s Eve.
The blushing bride was draped in $1million worth of diamonds and jewelry from Nini Jewels and the Watch King Moshe Haimoff as she said ‘I do’ in front of 130 guests.
The guest list featured a number of Uchitel’s famous friends, including former Real Housewives stars Jill Zarin and Kelly Dodd, comedian Heather McDonald, radio personality Paige Davis and MTV star Bam Margera.
Uchitel was previously engaged to James Andrew O’Grady, who tragically died during the September 11 terrorist attacks.
After that engagement, she was married to Wall Street trader Steven Ehrenkranz for four months in 2004.
Her second marriage was with former football player Hahn and it lasted three years. The couple divorced in 2014 and they are now co-parenting their daughter, Wyatt Lily, amicably.
She notoriously had an affair with Woods in 2009 and actor David Boreanaz in 2010.
After her affair with Woods was exposed, the professional golfer admitted to cheating on his wife with more than 120 different women.
