Adva Lavie Criminal Case Halted After LA Courtroom Breakdown

The criminal case against Adva Lavie, a former Penthouse Pet and OnlyFans model, was thrown into uncertainty after an emotional outburst in a Los Angeles County courtroom in which she pleaded to be deported.

Lavie cried and shouted during Wednesday’s hearing, prompting the judge to suspend proceedings in the case, according to ABC 7.

“Just deport me back to Israel. They broke my rib. Just send me home. They’re beating me up,” Lavie was heard saying in court. She also claimed she “can’t survive in jail” and “can’t even stand.”

The pause in the case also followed a declaration from Lavie’s defense attorney questioning her mental competency, which requires proceedings to be halted until the court determines whether she is mentally fit to stand trial.

During the hearing, Lavie, who is also known as Mia Ventura, was seen leaving the courtroom and returning several times. She was reportedly limping and, at one point, had to use a rolling chair.

The courtroom disruption came about two weeks after the former OnlyFans model was denied mental health treatment as an alternative to jail time. She had been arrested in late July after reportedly violating bail conditions and facing a theft allegation in Riverside County.

Before that July arrest, Lavie had been taken into custody over allegations that she stole from older wealthy men. She was charged with six felony counts tied to grand theft, burglary and unauthorized use of personal identifying information, and she pleaded not guilty.

Authorities have accused Lavie of using dating apps to target victims, including older wealthy men and younger women. She is alleged to have stolen items including a credit card, designer clothing valued at $100,000, gold coins and designer handbags.
