Carla Jeffery, the actress known to Disney Channel viewers for her appearances in several films from the hit Zombies franchise, has died at the age of 33.
‘It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Carla Jeffery, who passed away on September 1, 2026, at just 33 years old,’ began a sorrowful statement from Alexanders Talent Management on Instagram.
Alexanders Talent Management, which said it first signed Jeffery when she was only 12, remembered the actress in an emotional statement, saying: ‘For more than 20 years, we had the privilege of watching her grow into a beautiful, vibrant, and incredibly talented woman whose radiant smile could light up any room.’
The agency did not reveal a cause of death for Jeffery.
In its tribute, Alexanders Talent Management pointed to Jeffery’s memorable performance as Bree in Disney’s Zombies franchise, a role through which she ‘shared her joy, humor and bright spirit with audiences around the world.’
‘Carla was more than a client,’ the statement continued. ‘She was family.’

‘Our hearts are with Carla’s family and loved ones during this devastating time. We respectfully ask that their privacy be honored as they grieve this unimaginable loss,’ the statement added.
‘Rest beautifully, Carla. Your light will never be forgotten,’ it concluded.
Jeffery’s friends and fellow Disney Channel actors were quick to pay tribute to the late actress on social media after her death was announced.
Pearce Joza, who starred in the Zombies series as Wyatt, simply wrote, ‘I love you, Carla.’
Chandler Kinney, who appeared in the Zombies series as Willa, wrote that her fallen friend was ‘the brightest shining light in any room she walked into. the kindest person you’d ever meet. the most beautiful soul.’
‘this doesn’t feel real…..’ she added in shock.
‘Carla. The sweetest person I have ever met. I love you,’ wrote Mila Manheim, who costarred in the Zombies series as Zed.
Ariel Martin, who played Wynter, commented: ‘Carla i am at a loss. I love you I love you I love you I love you.’

Noah Zulfikar, who plays Jacey, called Jeffery ‘the brightest light,’ adding, ‘rest peacefully Carla.’
