Trump caught secretly slipping eye-popping cash to Natalie Harp

Donald Trump gave Natalie Harp, 35, and two other women working in the White House $45,000 each as a holiday gift, according to newly reported financial disclosure filings.

Harp, Chamberlain Harris, 26, and Margo Martin, 31, listed Trump as the source of a “cash gift for the holidays,” Politico reported, with the three payments totaling $135,000.

The holiday money was in addition to their taxpayer-funded White House salaries of $150,000 a year, meaning each gift amounted to roughly 30 percent of their annual government pay.

Harp, a former One America News host, joined Trump’s operation in 2022 and now works as his personal secretary. She is frequently seen close to the President, often just steps away during his public movements.

Inside Trump’s circle, she has become known as the “human printer” because she travels with a portable printer and provides him with paper copies of news stories and social media posts throughout the day.

Trump’s close working relationship with Harp drew national attention in August after Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff told a rally that Trump would rather “build his ballroom and travel with Natalie” than carry out his duties.

Ossoff was referring to an episode in Turkey, when Harp was among a very small group of aides who remained with Trump as he left Air Force One and boarded a decoy aircraft amid an Iranian assassination threat. Senior cabinet officials, including Marco Rubio and Scott Bessent, stayed behind on the larger plane while Harp accompanied the President.

Harris serves as Trump’s executive assistant and deputy director of Oval Office operations. Martin, a communications adviser to the President, regularly travels with him and films videos for his social media accounts.

Our News Outlet has contacted the White House, Harp, Harris and Martin.

‘The President has a longstanding practice of giving Christmas gifts to people in his orbit, including at times employees and aides, both in government and in his time in the private sector,’ a White House spokesman told Politico.

‘The gifts at issue here have nothing to do with any of these individuals’ official government duties, and, therefore, are entirely permissible under relevant legal and ethical standards.’

Another recipient was Oval Office operations director Walt Nauta, whose disclosure listed a $20,000 holiday gift from Trump. He has previously served as Trump’s valet and body man since his first term.

Nauta was also one of the few aides Trump took with him when he secretly slipped off Air Force One in Turkey over the summer.

The exact nature of the cash gifts provided to his closest staff remains unclear.

Harp’s devotion to Trump has at times raised concerns within the Secret Service and the President’s inner circle.

Harp wrote Trump a series of personal letters in 2023, telling him in one: ‘You are all that matters to me.’

She also called him her ‘Guardian and Protector in this Life,’ according to letters reviewed by the New York Times.

Trump told people that same year that Harp was the only person on his team who cared about him: ‘All of you will go off and make money … she’ll never leave me.’
