Newly released video shows an American Airlines passenger, later restrained with duct tape and zip ties, shouting obscenities from his seat and making vulgar comments about another traveler.
“You have a little tiny d–k. You have a little tiny d–k. All you little f–king … whoa, oh yeah,” 67-year-old Arthur Layne Lundeen yelled, before his words trailed into slurred, incoherent remarks as he waved his arms.
The person recording the footage, seated across the aisle from Lundeen, can be heard laughing at several points during the incident.
It was not immediately clear which passenger Lundeen was targeting in the video, but authorities said his outburst extended beyond one person. Police said he called a flight attendant the N-word and used anti-gay slurs before being secured in his first-class seat.
Lundeen, a Tucson real estate agent who has since been dismissed after video of the midair disturbance spread online, was traveling from Dallas to Newark on American Airlines Flight 618 on Sept. 3.
The disruption was serious enough that the plane made an emergency landing in Baltimore. Lundeen was arrested by Maryland Transportation Police and later charged in state court with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct, according to court records.
