Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s reported wedding guest list sparked an uncomfortable moment on Fox NFL Kickoff when one panelist discovered he was apparently the only cast member left off the invitation list.
Charissa Thompson hosted the year’s first early pregame show with Julian Edelman and Charles Woodson, as the trio previewed the start of the new NFL season.
When the discussion shifted to Kelce—set to begin his 14th season on Monday Night Football as the Kansas City Chiefs prepare to host the Denver Broncos—his wedding to Swift quickly became part of the conversation.
Edelman then highlighted his own connection to the star-studded celebration, revealing that he had attended the ceremony at Madison Square Garden, where more than 1,000 guests reportedly watched the celebrity couple exchange vows over the July 4 weekend.
Thompson was also said to be among the attendees, alongside her close friend Erin Andrews. Both women have longstanding, well-known friendships with Kelce.
Attempting to steer the conversation elsewhere, Thompson joked that the guests had “signed NDAs.” She then told Woodson that his invitation may have simply been “lost in the mail,” adding to the awkwardness.

“Travis Kelce, how hungry can he be? He just had the wedding of the century,” Woodson said. Edelman, a former Patriots receiver, immediately jumped in with his verdict: “It was a great wedding.”
Woodson appeared puzzled. “Hold on, did you go?” he asked, prompting Edelman to repeat his answer: “It was a great wedding.”
“And you went?” Woodson continued, turning to Thompson. She responded with another playful deflection: “It’s not important right now, we signed NDAs.”
Woodson, like the Cleveland-born Kelce, was stunned to learn that he appeared to be the only member of the group who did not make the guest list.
“I thought I had the Ohio connection. I thought I would be the one invited,” he said.
‘Your invitation was probably lost in the mail,’ Thompson joked, before Woodson pointed to the fact Edelman had far more Super Bowl as the probable reason.
‘How many Super Bowls did you win?’ Woodson asked Edelman. ‘Three,’ the Patriots legend replied.
‘That’s probably why then,’ Woodson responded.
Woodson has previously spoken about Kelce and Swift, calling their relationship good for the NFL in an interview with Our News Outlet back in 2023 when they started dating.

Kelce gushed over his wedding to the pop megastar ahead of his 14th NFL season
‘As long as it doesn’t affect playing, training and regiments – then it is not affecting him as a player,’ Woodson said.
‘He just keeps doing what he is doing to be a better player, and he is doing that. ‘As soon as it starts to affect that, then you have a problem.
‘But I truly believe he is a guy that wants to be considered to be the best player in the position, and he will continue to work as hard as he can without the extra celebrity level.’
Kelce has gushed about his wedding day as the ‘best day of his life’ when asked about the event during training camp.
Kelce said: ‘It was a fun offseason, man, wedding was the best night of my life and I appreciate everyone who came out and celebrated and had fun with us.
‘That’s about all I really got from that night. It was a crazy night. It was full of a lot of celebration. But it’s football, baby.’
Asked specifically about getting married at Madison Square Garden, he added: ‘MSG, man. You know, I always told myself I’d go for a playoff game when the Knicks were rocking. Then my wife went when I was stuck in minicamp, so I didn’t get my opportunity to go then.
‘So it’s kind of cool to be able to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the Mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married in there.
‘I can’t thank the owners of MSG for allowing us to get the opportunity to do that, knowing we wanted a private event and everything, so it was perfect. And the AC was perfect, man, that’s the best part.’
