An American visitor claims US Senate hopeful Ken Paxton confronted him in London and reached for his phone after the tourist recorded the Texas attorney general walking with his alleged romantic partner.
The man, who spoke exclusively to Daily Mail on the condition that he and his wife not be identified, said he reported the alleged incident to London’s Metropolitan Police. He said the confrontation took place on July 1 on Westminster Bridge, near the London Eye.
According to the tourist, he recognized the scandal-plagued Republican as Paxton strolled through the British capital with Tracy Duhon. While sightseeing with his wife, he decided to capture a brief video on his phone.
Paxton and Duhon were reportedly traveling through Europe at the time. They had also been seen together in Iceland only days earlier, in footage first reported by Our News Outlet.
Paxton, 63, is challenging Democrat James Talarico in a closely watched Texas Senate contest. The race could have major implications for whether Donald Trump’s Republican Party retains control.
Our News Outlet first reported the alleged relationship between Paxton and Duhon a year ago. The report said the pair began a romance in May 2024 after meeting at the Kentucky Derby, while both were still married to other people. Duhon is the mother of seven.
Paxton and Duhon have not publicly denied the reported affair.
The tourist said he filmed an 18-second video, which Our News Outlet later published on July 7, and then continued walking away.
He said that moments later he felt something strike or brush against his left shoulder.

When he turned around, the tourist said Paxton was standing directly beside him, shoulder to shoulder.
“Were you filming me back there?” Paxton allegedly asked, according to the tourist.
The man said he acknowledged that he had been recording. Paxton allegedly replied that he was not allowed to do so, the tourist told Our News Outlet.
The tourist said he told Paxton that he was entitled to film him because Paxton was a public figure in a public place.
He claimed the exchange became more heated as Paxton demanded to see the footage and then lunged toward the phone in his hand.
He claims the encounter then descended into a heated public confrontation, with Paxton repeatedly demanding his phone as he tried to move away.
‘He says, “You can’t do that. Let me have your phone. I want your phone,” and then at this point it’s a confrontation,’ he added.
‘He’s yelling at me, and I’m telling him to back off. He lunged at the phone a second time and tried to force it from me.’
By then, the man’s wife said she realized her husband was in trouble and began running toward him.

After hearing him shout for her to record what was happening, she pulled her own phone from her purse.
‘He saw me get my phone out of my purse,’ she told Our News Outlet.
‘I could also see him trying to evaluate, “What’s my next move?”‘
The couple allege Paxton walked away after realizing the confrontation could be captured on a second phone.
Duhon was not with him during the alleged altercation.
Paxton’s campaign did not respond to Daily Mail’s request for comment over the couple’s allegations.
For now, the husband and wife have held off on pursuing criminal charges against Paxton because they don’t want Paxton or the MAGA political machine to know their names or come after them.

The husband said there were no punches thrown, and he was not injured from the alleged ordeal.
‘It doesn’t lessen the effect. Just because (my husband) felt like he could hold his own doesn’t change the fact that he tried to intimidate and physically threaten someone,’ the wife added.
The scandal-prone Republican, who has the support of President Donald Trump, has previously been accused but never convicted of fraud and corruption and was impeached and later acquitted by Texas lawmakers in May 2023.
‘He just thinks he’s a tough guy. I think he’s used to people being afraid of him,’ the husband continued.
‘He is acting like he’s in Texas. His whole public career, he can get away with all of that crap and if we’d had been in Texas, he would have done the same thing. He would have immediately called the cops and they would have come in there and they would have taken my phone and they would have done it because he’s the top cop in the state of Texas.’
The Americans had been on the fence for months about publicly telling their story, however, they decided to grant Daily Mail an anonymous interview because they want voters in Texas to have the information as early voting starts Oct. 19 in the Lone Star State.
‘I just think that a normal person, an average person, would think of the consequences and not do something like this,’ the husband said.
‘But he’s so out of control, he’s literally done whatever he wants to do and gets away with it. He thought he could get away with this. Think about how stupid that guy is.’
Duhon, 58, divorced her Louisiana car dealership mogul husband in 2025, while Paxton is separated but still legally married to the mother of his four grown children, who filed for divorce in July 2025 citing ‘Biblical grounds.’
