Long Island high schoolers taunt football rivals with sickening signs with girlfriend's pictures, names

Disturbing images from a Long Island high school football game appear to show Sachem North students mocking a rival team with crude, sexually suggestive posters featuring the names and photographs of players’ girlfriends.

The signs were displayed during Friday’s matchup with William Floyd. One poster reportedly showed a football player alongside his girlfriend and asked who was “easier to score on.”

Another poster used a football reference to ask whether students could “touchdown” on a different girl after the game.

The incident has outraged parents, who are calling for school officials to take action over the alleged harassment.

“There were numerous signs being held by students about doing things to their girlfriends — they even had names and faces on their signs — these poor girls had to be victimized by this,” said Paul Horst, whose relatives play football for William Floyd.

People who attended the game said the students displaying the posters were not disciplined or instructed by administrators to remove them.

“Nothing was being done by anyone,” Horst said, criticizing the school’s response as the offensive signs remained visible in the stands.

According to a relative of one of the girls identified on a poster, the student confronted the group and asked them to take the sign down. The relative told The Post that one of the boys then spit on her.

A brief physical confrontation followed, according to video of the incident that was shared by a relative and reviewed by The Post.
