The dismembered remains of a Georgia mother were found in a plastic tub after her worried relatives traced her phone to an apartment complex — where an 18-year-old man now being investigated in connection with her gruesome death had previously been accused of attacking his own father.
Shanteria “Tia” Mosely, 26, was identified by her family after relatives found her dismembered torso at the Park Valley apartment complex in Smyrna late Wednesday, 11Alive reported.
Mosely had left home that morning to make DoorDash deliveries. By late afternoon, her family had lost contact with her and tracked her phone to the apartment complex, searching door to door for answers, relatives told the outlet.
The family also contacted Smyrna police, who initially conducted a brief search before leaving the complex.
“So the officer ended up coming out,” Mosely’s aunt, Michelle Weaver, told the outlet. “She said, ‘So where did her phone ping?’ So we took her back to where the phone ping. She knocked on like three guys’ doors, and you know that was it.”
At the complex, relatives eventually saw Kingston Lammar Bradley, 18, looking out from a window.
When they knocked and asked whether he had seen Mosely, Bradley allegedly told them he had not seen anyone get out of her car at the property.
Soon afterward, Weaver reportedly saw Bradley carrying a cloth bag that contained a plastic tub, according to the outlet.
After realizing Weaver was watching him, Bradley allegedly dropped the tub. Inside, relatives said, was Mosely’s dismembered torso.
Her family identified Mosely by a tattoo on the remains.
According to an arrest warrant obtained by the publication, investigators searching Bradley’s apartment found several blood-stained areas, a mop, a bucket of water, a carpet cleaner, a strong smell of bleach and a large saw covered in blood.
Bradley was arrested on a felony charge of concealing the death of another person. Smyrna police said Friday afternoon that he is officially considered a person of interest in Mosely’s death.

Smyrna Lt. Meredith Holt stopped short of officially identifying Mosely as the victim. She told reporters that the rest of the body had not been recovered and that DNA testing would be needed before the medical examiner could complete the report.
Although Mosely’s relatives said she had been making DoorDash deliveries, Holt said the company told police Mosely had not clocked in that day and had no record of a delivery to the apartment complex where the remains were found.
Investigators are continuing to interview witnesses and gather evidence, Holt said. They are also working to determine whether Bradley and Mosely knew each other or had any other connection.
DoorDash did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
The case, which Holt described as “shocking” and “particularly gruesome,” comes after Bradley faced criminal charges over a violent confrontation with his father.
In December 2024, Bradley allegedly struck his father with an Xbox controller, broke through his bedroom door and shattered a window after “push(ing) a 15-year-old male juvenile into the window,” according to court records obtained by the outlet.
He was charged with multiple offenses, including two counts of terroristic threats, battery, simple battery and criminal trespass or damage to property.
The terroristic threat charges were filed because Bradley allegedly “suggested the death” of his father, the outlet reported.
Bradley was indicted in February and released as a juvenile defendant on a $3,500 bond, with the condition that he did no alcohol or drugs, had no firearms, and had no further violent contact with his dad or the juvenile.
He pleaded not guilty at an April arraignment.
Court records from just this week showed Bradley was trying to get admitted into inpatient mental health treatment.
Meanwhile, Mosely, who WSB-TV said was a mother, was remembered as a joyful young woman.
“With her smiles, laughter, and just full of joy, and talking crap to everybody, and just being happy, cheering everybody day up,” her aunt told 11Alive.
