Shocking video shows Amazon delivery driver peeing all over posh NYC apartment lobby

A delivery gone foul.

An Amazon delivery driver was caught on camera urinating throughout the lobby of a posh Greenwich Village apartment building, leaving one resident angry over what he called a “foul” delivery.

Security footage recorded by Donny, a 30-year-old tenant in a four-story building near Bleecker Street and Carmine Avenue, appears to show the driver unzipping his pants outside the apartment on Aug. 26 before spraying urine across the hallway and nearby furniture.

“He walked straight back there as if he’d done it a hundred times, like second nature,” Donny told The Post, describing the disturbing Ring video.

“I had shoes in the hallway, a chair in the hallway, a table in the hallway and he was peeing and splashing everywhere,” the resident said.

The footage shows a man in a light blue-and-gray Amazon delivery uniform ringing the building’s electronic doorbell system at about 3 p.m. to gain entry.

Donny, who declined to provide his last name, buzzed the driver inside and initially noticed nothing unusual. He said he was stunned when he later reviewed the recording through the Ring app.

In the video, the deliveryman appears to scan the hallway, seemingly checking whether anyone is watching, before unzipping his pants and relieving himself over Donny’s belongings.

After Donny contacted Amazon to report the incident, he said the company described it as “horrible” and offered him a $50 gift card as an apology.

“I didn’t think that was appropriate for what had happened,” Donny said. He added that he rejected the gift card.

Donny said the stranger’s urine soaked several possessions, including his shoes, a chair and a table, all of which he claimed he had to discard.

The incident has also made him uneasy about allowing future delivery drivers into the building, fearing someone else could repeat the alleged misconduct.

“Now, every time an Amazon driver rings my doorbell, I have to go check the camera to make sure that he’s not peeing in my hallway,” Donny said.

He said he is particularly concerned that the behavior could have happened in front of someone close to him, including his 5-year-old nephew, who frequently visits.

“He could have easily been there. My girlfriend could have walked out of the door and seen this happening while it was happening,” he said.

Attorney Cary London of Fredson Statmore Bitterman said the firm is considering possible legal action against Amazon.

“We are exploring all legal avenues against Amazon,” London said. “But what we would really like to see is a change in Amazon’s policies — in addition to monetary compensation.”

The driver has not been identified.

Amazon said the man was not a direct employee but worked for one of the company’s independent “Delivery Service Partners.”

“This does not reflect the standards we expect from Delivery Service Partners,” Amazon spokesperson Leigh Anne Gullett said in a statement. “The individual is no longer delivering Amazon packages.”

The delivery app provides drivers with locations where restrooms are available and routes include a 30-minute lunch and two additional 15-minute breaks.
