Actress Monet Mazur reportedly thwarted an attempted burglary at her Hollywood Hills home late Saturday after noticing three masked figures on her security system.
The suspects, described as wearing dark clothing and ski masks, allegedly arrived at the hillside property around 11:30 p.m. while Mazur was inside with her dog.
After seeing the group near the residence through her surveillance cameras, Mazur confronted the intruders. They reportedly ran from the property before entering the house.
The suspects are believed to have fled after realizing someone was home.
Los Angeles police officers responded to the scene and searched nearby streets and hillside areas. A helicopter was also used in the search, but authorities did not locate anyone connected to the attempted break-in.
Video from the incident showed Mazur outside the residence with her dog as LAPD officers examined the property and investigated the attempted burglary.
A police helicopter was visible circling the surrounding hills, while pepper spray could be seen on the home’s front doormat after the reported incident.
Property information connected to the case identifies Mazur’s residence as a two-bedroom home valued at approximately $1.5 million. Perched in the Hollywood Hills, the property overlooks Los Angeles.

The attempted home invasion comes as Los Angeles continues to face concerns about residential burglaries, especially in wealthy hillside communities where secluded properties can sit away from busy roads while offering expansive city views.
Mazur, 50, has built a career as an actress, model and former musician, working in the entertainment industry since the early 1990s.
She is perhaps most recognized for portraying Laura Fine-Baker on The CW football series “All American.” Her film credits include “Blow,” “Torque,” “Monster-in-Law,” “40 Days and 40 Nights” and “The House Bunny.”
Her television work has also included appearances on “Castle,” “CSI: Miami” and “NCIS: Los Angeles.” She additionally served as a producer on the series “Snatch.”
Before turning to acting, Mazur worked as a model and appeared in campaigns for brands including Gap.
The daughter of artist Ruby Mazur, she has also featured in music videos throughout her career. Mazur remains active in entertainment and serves on the board of Watts Community Core.
The LAPD’s Hollywood division led the response to Saturday night’s attempted break-in. No arrests had been announced in connection with the case as of Sunday.
