A small plane crashed onto a San Jose highway Saturday while carrying three people.
The propeller aircraft went down near Capitol Expressway and Excalibur Drive shortly after 3 p.m., the San Jose Fire Department said. Two adults and one child were aboard.
All three occupants were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries as a precaution, according to the department.
No vehicles were struck in the crash. A small fuel spill was reported and subsequently absorbed.
Images from the scene showed the aircraft’s nose severely crushed and bent against the roadway.

The fire department directed The California Post to its official announcement on X when asked for additional comment.
The incident followed another plane crash Friday night at Reid Hillview Airport in San Jose.
“A small plane crash landed due to faulty landing gear. The two individuals onboard were uninjured and able to get out of the plane on their own. The crash did not result in any fuel spill,” the San Jose Fire Department said on X.
