Lenny Kravitz’s team has trashed sick rumors that the rocker dad was on the Bahamas-bound Learjet that crashed “like a missile” into Florida mobile homes.
The rumor went wildly viral on X after a female pilot wrongly identified as the one flying the doomed $2 million jet had proudly posted about taking Kravitz on a similar route as the doomed Learjet that crashed Sunday, killing all nine on board.
“Honored to be flying the one and only Lenny Kravitz from [Austin-Bergstrom International Airport] to [North Eleuthera Airport, Bahamas] tomorrow. Looking forward to having him on board,” a screenshot of Florida-based pilot Emily Shelton’s post read.
“It Ain’t Over ‘Til It’s Over is gonna be playing in the cockpit.”
Kravitz team spoke out after a tweet claiming that Shelton was the dead pilot — and hence Kravitz a likely passenger — was viewed nearly 3 million times by Monday morning.
“The reports are untrue and incorrect,” his rep, Carleen Donovan, told BocaNewsNow.
Shelton – a 21-year-old pilot who went viral for making an emergency landing on Interstate 10 in August – also spoke up to make clear she was alive and uninvolved.
“I was recently made aware that there are rumors that I was the pilot of the recent crash in Palm Beach,” she wrote on TikTok Sunday.
“I would like to respectfully clarify I was not. I ask that people please stop speculating and spreading misinformation on this tragedy and be respectful of those involved.
“My heart goes out to all those lost and affected.”
Authorities have yet to identify the nine prople killed in that crash that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis called “cataclysmic.”
“It looked like a missile going down, it left a big crater on the side of the road,” he said of the $2 million plane that crashed into a South Florida mobile home park.
