For A-list couple Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, newlywed life appears to be centered on settling into a new routine together.
Their days look much like those of many married couples—aside from the fact that Swift is a billionaire pop superstar and Kelce is a three-time Super Bowl champion. From exercising together and adding plenty of protein to their meals to spending time with family, the pair appear to have embraced life as husband and wife. Swift is 36, while Kelce is 37.
However, one insider exclusively told Our News Outlet that the 14-time Grammy winner may soon step out of her private marital bubble and turn her attention toward a new professional goal: earning her first Academy Award.
“Taylor has been finding the balance between work and married life, but she has told friends that she loves being Mrs. Kelce and loves saying she is a married woman. She has found the one,” the insider said.
The couple began dating in 2023, when much of their early relationship unfolded around Swift’s demanding schedule on her record-breaking Eras Tour. Now, the dynamic has shifted, with Swift supporting Kelce as he enters what many believe could be his final NFL season.
“When she is with Travis, she does everything to support him because he is working so hard on football,” the source said.

“They work out a ton together,” the insider said. “They love to lift weights and stay strong, and they stick to a lean diet. There is a lot of protein in their meals.”
Swift’s enthusiasm for baking is well known. In August 2025, she revealed on Kelce’s New Heights podcast that the couple had become “very deep in a sourdough obsession” while he prepared for last year’s preseason.
According to the source, Swift has since “eased off” the sweets because Kelce “needs to be in the best shape of his life.” She still occasionally prepares one of his favorite indulgences: French toast.
During the NFL season, the couple is likely spending much of their time at Kelce’s $6 million mansion in a gated community near Kansas City. The property is approximately 18 miles from Arrowhead Stadium.
The same home also provided the setting for Kelce’s August 2025 proposal, which took place in the backyard rose garden.
With six bedrooms, six bathrooms and 17,000 square feet of space, the suburban property is sizeable. Still, it may feel a little busier following the arrival of a new four-legged family member: the couple’s white Samoyed, Wendy.
The pair reportedly welcomed the fluffy dog into their family about a year ago, surprising some Swifties because the singer is famously known for her love of cats.

The insider said Swift’s cats—Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson and Benjamin Button—get along with Wendy, with all four pets spending plenty of time together at home.
Family is also a major part of the couple’s routine, including time with Kelce’s mother, Donna. She is frequently photographed alongside Swift at Kansas City Chiefs games. Just two weeks ago, Swift was seen hugging Donna inside their private suite at Arrowhead Stadium as the Chiefs defeated the Los Angeles Chargers.
Swift has also developed a newfound affection for Ohio, Kelce’s home state. Last month, she released a new song titled “Cleveland!” on the expanded edition of her album The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore.
The couple is also reportedly renovating Kelce’s new $5.35 million lakefront mansion in Bratenahl, Ohio, located only a few miles from his hometown of Cleveland Heights.
“They see a ton of Travis’ family and she loves his mom. Taylor stays super busy,” the insider said.
While the demands of a football career can create pressure for couples, Swift and Kelce appear to have reached an understanding about his commitment to the Chiefs.
“She accepts that Travis has to commit so much time to the Chiefs,” the source said.

“She never complains because football is his passion. He has been in practice since August, so he has been hyper-focused for a long time.”
Even as Swift supports Kelce through the busiest stretch of his year, she is reportedly preparing her own next career move.
The singer has been writing new music, according to the source, and has already accumulated enough material for two more albums.
“Taylor takes notes, hums new melodies and reads a lot of books for inspiration,” the insider added.
She has also been reconnecting with several high-profile figures in her inner circle, including musicians Este Haim and Selena Gomez, along with her personal mentors Carly Simon and Stevie Nicks.
Between Kelce’s demanding football season, Swift’s new music and a likely Oscars campaign for her Toy Story 5 song “I Knew It, I Knew You,” balancing married life with Hollywood’s expectations will be no easy task.
Still, after three years of a relationship that has unfolded largely in the public eye, Swift and Kelce appear to have made preserving their post-wedding happiness amid the noise feel almost effortless.
