President Donald Trump has declared that the United States will maintain its military presence in and around Iran until the nation fully adheres to a previously established agreement. This commitment encompasses US ships, aircraft, and military personnel, underscoring the seriousness with which the US is treating the situation.
In a statement shared on Truth Social on Wednesday, Trump emphasized, “All US Ships, Aircraft, and Military Personnel, along with additional ammunition, weaponry, and necessary resources for the lethal prosecution and destruction of an already significantly weakened enemy, will stay positioned in the vicinity of Iran until the comprehensive agreement is honored in full.”

Trump further warned of the consequences should the agreement not be upheld, though he considered such a scenario unlikely. “If for any reason it is not, then the ‘Shooting Starts,’ in a manner bigger, better, and stronger than ever witnessed. This was agreed upon long ago, and despite all the misleading rhetoric, there will be no nuclear weapons, and the Strait of Hormuz will remain open and safe,” he asserted.
