Cost Of Iran War Has Increased $4 Billion From Initial Estimate, Pentagon Says

The financial toll of the war in Iran has surged by $4 billion in just under two weeks, according to Pentagon officials who provided an update on Tuesday. This recent increase pushes the total cost to approximately $29 billion, a significant leap from the $25 billion reported at the end of April. These figures were disclosed by Jay Hurst, the Defense Department Comptroller, during a congressional session.
