The mysterious murder of serial rapist Antonius Randolph shocked the internet after his inmates conspired to his death inside the jail.
On January 3, 2023, the Richland County Sheriff’s Department charged five inmates with murder conspiracy in the death of Antonius Randolph.
Antonius died at Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center handcuffed on accusations of multiple robbery cases and a serial raping season in the Northeast Columbia area on January 26, 2023.
Before the rapist’s death, investigators had served two more warrants for criminal sexual conduct, first-degree murder and kidnapping.
The 29-year-old serial rapist was found lifeless at his jail room.

Antonious murder resulted from a planned attack involving the five offenders mentioned above at Alvin S. Glenn.
Investigators claim his inmates entered the victim’s cells, unlocked around 08:oo PM on January 2, 2023. They covered a cloth over the door and proceeded to beat him.
The Columbia, South Carolina, Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center has been the subject of two recent murder investigations by the Richland County Sheriff’s office.
According to Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott, the 29-year-old guy was arrested after being publicly referred to as a serial rapist and a monster who belonged in jail.
5 Men Charged With Antonius Randolph’s Murder
The accused serial rapist Antonius supposed to be in bond court was found dead in a jail cell with blood around his body.
Antonious five inmates, James Oxendine Jr., Devin Rowe, Erick Stewart, Jayun Harrison, and Daylan Isreal, had involvement in the incident in a press conference.
Looking at their previous criminal records, Harrison and Oxendine Jr. were already held in jail on murder charges.
For victims, Rebecca Lorick, director of Pathways to Healing, the death of a perpetrator can bring a mix of emotions, revealed. This Columbia nonprofit offers to counsel sexual assault survivors. She said some might be angry, and sexual assault victims found closure and a sense of justice during a confrontation in court.

Antonius Randolph was pronounced dead in Cell 46 in Unit J. His death was the second murder investigation by the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
Since he was murdered, the sheriff’s department reviewed camera footage surveillance, and the coroner is working on determining a cause of death.
The woman answering the phone at Randolph’s address, identified as his mother, said her son’s death and declined to comment that the rapist’s arrest and death were private matters.
Coroner Naida Rutherford determined that death from acute dehydration in February 2022 resulted from jail staff failing to provide the inmate with enough food and liquids or start hydration therapy before his passing was a homicide. The inmate, who was 27 years old and held in an isolated cell, had been in jail for a while.

Why Was Antonius Randolph In Jail?
According to Police reports, Antonious Randolph was found with a ski mask, knife and *** toy.
From November 2021 to January 2023, authorities accused the rapist of assaulting and attempting to assault at least six women around northeast Columbia.
Investigators showed he had been committing crimes in the community for more than a year and were responsible for at least five attacks on women.
