Aaron Judge found his biggest cheerleader right by his side during a special celebration on Saturday night.
Yankee fans were thrilled as the team’s star player, Aaron Judge, attended the 2026 BBWAA [Baseball Writers’ Association of America] dinner in New York City, accompanied by his wife, Samantha. The evening marked another milestone for Judge, who was awarded the AL MVP honor for the second year in a row.
Samantha dazzled in a stunning burgundy gown, radiating joy as she stood alongside Judge, 33, who was looking sharp in a classic black tuxedo.

Judge, renowned for his seven-time MLB All-Star status, etched his name in history last November. He joined the legendary ranks of Yankees icons like Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra, and Joe DiMaggio by becoming the fourth player in the franchise’s history to earn a third AL MVP award. His inaugural MVP win came in 2022.
“Chasing awards was never my goal; instead, it was about winning and uplifting the game,” Judge expressed during a conference call back then. “Whether I won by a single vote or twenty, it held the same significance to me.”
Before Judge took the stage for his acceptance speech on Saturday, his former teammate and good friend, Anthony Rizzo, praised the unwavering support Samantha brings to Judge’s life.
“Sam, without you — and getting to know you over all these years — without you, Aaron is not a three-time MVP, and I mean that sincerely. You are such a rock for him, and what you bring, your steady presence is amazing,” Rizzo said, according to Yankees Source.

Judge and Samantha tied the knot in a lavish destination wedding in Hawaii in December 2021.
The couple became first-time parents in January 2025 with the birth of their daughter, Nora Rose.
“What an incredible week it’s been, can’t wait for the memories the three of us make,” Judge said in an Instagram post announcing his daughter’s birth.
Judge hit 53 home runs in 2025. He also earned the first batting title of his career with an average of .331.
