Arthur De Luigi Arrested For Assault: Charges details

A well-known doctor, Dr. Arthur De Luigi, was arrested after police said he assaulted a woman outside the Bird’s Nest entertainment venue during the WM Phoenix Open last weekend.

Dr. Arthur De Luigi is one of 54 persons detained by police at the WM Phoenix Open, a significant increase from the 18 arrested the previous year.

De Luigi is in trouble for injuring someone and behaving rowdy. Aaron Bolin, a police officer, said they spotted the man knocking down signs and railings soon before the incident occurred.

They also said that De Luigi appeared inebriated, and security cameras captured him running at a woman and pushing her to the ground.

The police officer stated that De Luigi did not appear to have any reason to do it.

He quickly approached a woman strolling with a group of people and pushed her very hard. She collapsed to the ground as a result of the powerful push.

The woman who was injured didn’t even know De Luigi. She is currently receiving medical treatment for the injuries she sustained as a result of the incident.

Her family is furious with what happened to her. It’s a tragic situation in which someone was harmed for no reason.

Mayo Clinic Doctor Mugshot And Charges

Details about Dr. De Luigi’s mugshot and charges from the Mayo Clinic have yet to be disclosed.

Dr. De Luigi holds prominent positions at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona, where he chairs the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and directs Sports Medicine.

He has previously served as the primary club doctor for the Washington Wizards of the NBA and as a physician for the Washington Nationals of baseball.

Likely, he also served as a team physician for the Phoenix Rising. A spokeswoman for the Mayo Clinic provided a comment to Arizona Family Investigates.

They stated that everyone’s safety and well-being is a top priority at the WM Phoenix Open. Dr. De Luigi is currently on administrative leave as they investigate the incident.

The claimed incident occurred outside of the hours when Mayo Clinic employees were providing care at the event.

They stated that personnel concerns are handled discreetly and that they will not provide any other information, directing any future queries to the Scottsdale Police Department.

Arizona’s family sought to contact Dr. De Luigi, who returned their call. However, he added that his lawyer told him not to speak and to let the legal process play out.
