Jade Thirlwall has playfully celebrated the renewed attention around her hit song Angel Of My Dreams, joking that while some angels get to walk the runway, she has to “hold it down in Newcastle.”
The 33-year-old singer has found herself at the centre of a viral moment after Kylie Jenner made her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut on Sunday, walking in the iconic $50 million Fantasy Bra as Jade’s debut solo single played.
The high-profile performance has delivered a huge boost to Jade’s music. Fans have recreated the fashion show moment across social media, while Spotify reported a 4,300 per cent worldwide rise in streams for Angel Of My Dreams and a 760 per cent global increase for JADE.
The former Little Mix star has been embracing the unexpected resurgence with a series of playful TikTok posts, including one in which she wore a Newcastle football shirt and declared herself the “angel of the north.”
In another clip, Jade posed and strutted through a rehearsal studio, joking in the caption: “Just imagine I’m wearing angel wings and the fantasy bra.”
She also shared a chaotic video of herself appearing overwhelmed, explaining that she was now “promoting my debut single from two years ago because it got played at the VS fashion show.”

Jade said she was determined to give the track, which was released in July 2024, “its well-deserved moment” while continuing to work on new music.
With the Mercury Awards approaching on Thursday, where she is scheduled to perform, Jade also posted a light-hearted video showing her struggling to choose which song to sing.
Wearing a sports shirt with a long denim skirt, she held up the sheet music for Angel Of My Dreams as she weighed up her performance options.
“Me deciding what to perform at the Mercurys after this week,” she captioned the clip.
Jade, who rose to fame after appearing on The X Factor with Little Mix in 2011, first reacted to the Victoria’s Secret moment while travelling on the London Underground.
“Nobody on this tube knows that my debut single was playing while Kylie Jenner wore the Fantasy Bra at the VS Fashion Show,” she wrote as she looked around the carriage.
Kylie captivated viewers as she walked the catwalk in the famous $50 million Fantasy Bra, accompanied by Jade’s Angel Of My Dreams.
The song’s chorus includes the lines: “Angel of my dreams / I will always love you and hate you, it’s not fair / It’s so bittersweet / I will always want you and need you, you don’t care / You don’t.”
Jade began her solo career after Little Mix entered a hiatus in 2022. Released in 2024, Angel Of My Dreams climbed to number seven on the UK singles chart.
She went on to win Best Pop Act at the 2025 BRIT Awards and released her debut album, That’s Showbiz, Baby!, last year.
The former Little Mix singer has been enjoying the song’s renewed success, sharing TikTok videos such as one featuring her in a Newcastle football shirt and joking that she is the “angel of the north.”

Kylie has had everyone talking this week after she wore the crown jewel of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Sunday, which is ordinarily worn by experienced models who have already paid their dues on the runway.
Yet the TV personality sparked backlash after she walked down the runway in it, becoming the first non-Angel to do so.
Critics called for the show to be cancelled after Kylie wore the iconic gemstone-encrusted $50million (£38million) Fantasy Bra at the fashion spectacle, which took place in Culver City, California.
‘This is UNACCEPTABLE,’ one fan wrote on X, while another added, ‘Victoria Secret truly out of creativity. Most expensive and yet the most basic. And a kardashian/jenner to cheapen it more.’
‘Out of literally anyone ever why the F**K did they put the fantasy bra on Kylie Jenner?’ another questioned.
‘Kylie Jenner got the fantasy bra… cancel this sht right now,’ someone else chimed in.
Past models who have worn the iconic bra include Gisele Bundchen, Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Tyra Banks and Candice Swanepoel.
Kylie’s show-stopping look was paired with a sheer miniskirt, silver panties, clear heels and angelic white wings.
The reality TV star was cheered on by boyfriend Timothee Chalamet, 30, and mom Kris Jenner, 70, who watched from the front row.
After the show, she took to her Instagram Stories, posting a close-up of her cleavage in the bra with the caption, ‘best day ever’.
She also shared another snap showing her getting ready for the runway in the brand’s signature pink robe.
Victoria’s Secret creative director Adam Selman told Vogue why Kylie was chosen for the special moment after the show aired.
‘Kylie really extends beyond fashion, beyond culture, beyond TV, beyond one singular thing,’ he told the publication. ‘That’s the exact same thing that we do. Like, the show is so big, it’s true entertainment, and I think that she is a great catalyst for that.

‘I think it’s fun. I think it’s really joyful, and I think it’s fun to celebrate in a different way that people aren’t going to expect,’ he concluded.
Meanwhile Kylie’s supermodel sister Kendall broke her silence on her runway debut.
30-year-old Kendall, a bona fide supermodel, was not at this year’s show and last strutted its catwalk in 2018.
However, she proved there is no sibling rivalry on Monday when she commented on Kylie’s Instagram recap video, calling her ‘a gorgeous woman!!!’.
