Tommy Fury Set for £5m Payday After £1.1m KSI Fight Fee

Tommy Fury is set to bank £1.1million for stepping into the ring with KSI, but industry insiders believe the headline payday could have been closer to £4million — and the real money may come after the final bell. MailOnline understands the 24-year-old could earn a further £5million by spring 2024 through lucrative spin-offs such as fitness programmes, brand partnerships and even a potential Netflix project.

The boxer and former Love Island contestant may now be on course to overtake his fiancée Molly-Mae Hague as the couple’s biggest earner. Hague, also 24, is reportedly worth around £2million a year in earnings and can command up to £20,000 for a single sponsored Instagram post.

Leading PR strategist Mark Borkowski believes Fury’s growing celebrity status, fuelled by high-profile social media boxing events such as this weekend’s KSI fight, could help push his earnings towards £10million by 2025. Speaking to MailOnline, he said: “Do they care about the cuts and bruises? No. Their focus is on the till receipts.”

Brand and culture specialist Nick Ede also predicts a major financial surge for Fury, saying the fighter is positioned to make “millions” from future bouts, commercial ventures and reality television opportunities — on top of the £1.1million he will receive for facing KSI in Manchester.

Ede said: “All eyes are going to be on Tommy Fury. He is now at the top of his game and in top form, and even if he loses he will still be a winner. He’s recently wowed social media with his extremely muscular shred, and I can see him launching a fitness plan ready for the new year and ‘new year, new you’. That will make him millions.”

He added: “With the success of the Fury TV show on Netflix, I can see him being poached to create content for the streaming giant and command a huge fee. With a rematch with Jake Paul on the cards too, this is Tommy’s time, and I can see him making over £5million in the next six months from brand, PR and promotional deals, as well as his matches.”

Mark Borkowski believes he will make more cash fighting YouTubers than professional fighters.

He said: ‘The earning potential remains on course. These celebrity influencer fights supercharge the bank balances by harnessing star power, sparking intrigue, and captivating audiences beyond traditional sports enthusiasts. It’s all about crossover audiences and the traction driven by Social Media hype’.

A rematch with Jake Paul looks on the cards. Fury said recently: ‘At the end of the day, Jake’s alright. Jake’s a lot better of a man than KSI I can tell you that. But at the end of the day I’m focussed on KSI, I’m going to come for him and then we can sit round the table and I’m pretty sure it won’t be the last dealings with the Pauls.’

Jake Paul says that his rival’s $1.5million (£1.1m) fee is too low

He said on his podcast: ‘KSI is offering you like $1.5m which is way underpaid for Tommy, especially coming off that win. Tommy should be making $5-6m and it’s crazy and bizarre to me that Tommy is even entertaining that’.

Fury, who had his first child Bambi with Miss Hague in January, settled his grudge match with Jake Paul in February after winning a split decision in Saudi Arabia in front his half-brother Tyson, Cristiano Ronaldo, Mike Tyson and Deontay Wilder with millions watching on pay-per-view (PPV).

Fury reportedly received a £1.6million ($2m) purse – and 35 per cent of the PPV money. In total, the 24-year-old earned £3.7million ($4.5m). Paul’s fight purse was £2.6million ($3.2m) – but he will also take 65 per cent of the pay-per-view money, taking his overall prize money to £7.1million ($8.6m) even though he lost.

Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury became official just weeks after their first villa date and moved in together in Manchester a month after landing back in the UK in 2019.

In March 2022, the smitten couple also purchased a £4million six-bedroom home in affluent Cheshire. It boasts a luxurious contemporary design, 5,000 sq ft of land, and a tranquil garden.

Molly revealed the move by launching a new social media profile on Instagram called Molly Maison, where she plans to document more of her personal life and gives an inside glimpse into their dream home.

Molly snapped up the Cheshire residence before it went on the market and she now has the likes of England footballers Marcus Rashford, 24, and Jordan Pickford, 28, as neighbours.

Molly’s abode, which has recently been refurbished, has a grand entrance complete with double front doors, marble flooring, and an elegant staircase.

The house has six spacious bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, the main boasting his and hers sinks, and a large living space, where Molly and Tommy will no doubt relax of an evening while watching their favourite Harry Potter films.

Already an influencer before joining the show, Molly-Mae has amassed 7.8 million Instagram followers and landed a six-figure deal when she signed with fast fashion chain PLT in 2019 to become their creative director.

Molly-Mae has made £1.2million in profits via her company MMH Group Holdings and £848,000 from her self-tanning business Filter.

She added to her cash pot with her memoir released back in June 2022 – Becoming Molly-Mae – which sold at a cost of £20 and bulked up her fortune by £2million during the pandemic.

The star is also a brand ambassador for Beauty Works.

Known as the richest islander to exit the Love Island villa, Molly-Mae already has a net worth of £4.5million at 24.

Tommy, the younger brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, is a boxer himself.

He has an unbeaten boxing record and is said to have signed a six-figure deal to become the face of boohooMAN following his stint in the villa.

He is worth a reported £2.4million.
