The band released a statement on their socials announcing their split with Smarsh.

Cory Smarsh’s ex-girlfriend Jesa DeVir accused the guitarist of physical abuse as he was physically violent with her. Smarsh would destroy their apartment, and DeVir’s then 11-year-old daughter called chid protection services on him.
DeVir released a statement explaining her story and how Cory behaved nicely in front of everyone. But he would get really violent with her and abuse her. After many friends and family urged her to share her story, she finally opened up and came out as a victim of abuse.
