Angelynn Mock is a former television news anchor and reporter. Her LinkedIn profile shows that she worked at Fox 2 KTVI in St. Louis from 2011 through 2015.

Before moving to St. Louis, Mock spent four years as a morning anchor at KOKH-TV in Oklahoma City, from 2007 to 2011. Earlier in her career, she worked as a weekend sports anchor and reporter for KECI-TV in Missoula County, Montana, between 2004 and 2006.

Mock’s early television experience also included a position as a sports and news reporter at KAAL-TV, serving the Rochester-Austin area of Minnesota, from March through July 2004. From 2002 to 2004, she worked part time as a sports reporter and photographer at KLKN-TV in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Life after Television

After leaving television, Mock moved into software sales. Her LinkedIn profile lists her as a software sales account manager with CrossChx in the greater St. Louis area from May to October 2015.

Life in Prison

In October 2026, former television anchor Angelynn “Angie” Mock was sentenced to life in prison for the Oct. 31, 2025, death of her mother, 80-year-old Anita Avers, in Wichita, Kansas.

The sentence followed Mock’s plea agreement in a case that initially involved one count of first-degree murder. A Sedgwick County District Court judge said Mock will be eligible for parole after serving 25 years, according to KWCH.
