David Beckham has been announced as the new brand partner for Nespresso, in the latest big-money deal for the footballer.

The former England captain, 48, already boasts a net worth of £372 million, and has now joined forces with the coffee brand for a new campaign.

Announcing the partnership on Instagram, David appeared in a promotional clip enjoying one of Nespresso’s famous drinks.

Speaking about the campaign, David said: ‘I’ve always loved Nespresso coffee.

Whether enjoying a peaceful moment at home with family or getting ready for a business meeting, the range of blends is fantastic, easy to prepare, and every cup tastes amazing.

With Nespresso, David will share an exclusive view of the genuine coffee moments he enjoys.

This includes taking personal quiet moments amidst his busy schedule, making his favorite Nespresso coffees and recipes, emphasizing the need for mindfulness, whether with family or alone as part of his morning ritual.

Anna Lundstrom, CEO for Nespresso in the UK and ROI, stated: ‘David Beckham has always had remarkable style, taste, and a passion for creating elevated experiences, qualities that Nespresso embodies.

‘We are thrilled to partner with David to highlight his genuine love for the nation’s favorite drink and his journey of coffee discovery. It’s also about showing how routine coffee moments—with family, friends, and by ourselves—can make daily life more meaningful.’

This is just the latest in a series of brand endorsements for David, having been photographed for a campaign with Italian automaker Maserati in February.

Earlier this year, it was disclosed that David earned an astounding £657,322 per week in 2022, as he and his wife Victoria received an £8 million dividend from their business empire.

The power couple entered 2022 feeling flush after sales across their ventures surged following lockdowns – with the former Spice Girl’s fashion range making a loss.

Beckham Brand Holdings, which acts as the umbrella company for David’s investments and branding and Victoria’s fashion and beauty firm, revealed in accounts filed that profits for 2021 hit £19.1m, up from £11.6m a year earlier.

Most came from DB Ventures – the former England footballer’s brand is licensed to the likes of video games producer Electronic Arts, Adidas, watch company Tudor, whisky brand Haig Club and car manufacturer Maserati.

DB Ventures’ turnover shot up from £11.4million to £34million, while profits climbed from £12.9million to £24.1million.

Victoria’s arm, which has in the past been propped up by her husband’s success, saw losses fall from £8.7million to £5.9million as sales climbed 13 per cent to £40.9million.

Victoria Beckham Holdings, part-owned by the Beckhams and part-owned by London private equity firm Neo Investment Partners, kicked off a turnaround plan in 2021.
