Chris Zachar, a distinguished criminal defense attorney, is the founder of Zachar Law Office, a prominent legal firm located in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He holds certification from the Wisconsin State Public Defender’s Office to defend clients facing Class A felony charges.
With a robust track record, Chris has successfully managed hundreds of pretrial and suppression motions in trial courts throughout Wisconsin. He frequently handles appeals in the Wisconsin Court of Appeals and has presented cases before the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Additionally, he represents clients in federal court as part of the Western District of Wisconsin’s CJA panel.
Chris is a University of Wisconsin Law School alumnus, graduating in the top ten percent of his class. He began his career at the Wisconsin State Public Defender’s offices in Black River Falls and La Crosse, serving as a trial attorney for a decade.
