Belinda’s journey into cooking began when her mother, Phillis, fell ill and was hospitalized, prompting Belinda to take charge of the family meals. Upon her mother’s recovery, the duo cooked together, and Phillis imparted valuable cooking knowledge that Belinda treasures to this day. At 19, Belinda embarked on a cooking apprenticeship, but her pursuit was interrupted by romance, and she never completed it.
Throughout her career, Belinda has explored various fields. She worked as an air hostess, which allowed her to travel extensively and explore diverse cuisines. Her professional journey also includes roles in finance, managing a bed and breakfast, and serving as a university liaison officer, where she facilitated student placements to launch their careers.
