Ryu Hae-ran is a South Korean professional golfer competing on the LPGA Tour. She earned her LPGA Tour card in 2023 and captured her first LPGA major championship on June 28, 2026, winning the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota.

Before turning professional, Ryu built an impressive amateur résumé, winning the 2018 Korean Women’s Amateur and placing fifth at the 2018 Asian Games. She was later named the KLPGA Rookie of the Year in 2020 and collected five KLPGA titles between 2019 and 2022. In 2022, she topped the LPGA Q-Series as medalist, joining Jeongeun Lee6 (2018) and Narin An (2021) as the third player from the Republic of Korea to achieve that distinction before securing LPGA Tour membership for 2023.

Ryu claimed her first LPGA Tour victory at the 2023 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G. That same season, she wrapped up the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year award with 893 points after the ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican. The achievement made her the sixth Korean player since 2015 to win the honor and the 14th from Korea overall since Seri Pak in 1998.

She added more titles in the following seasons, winning the FM Championship in 2024 and the Black Desert Championship presented by Greater Zion in 2025. In 2026, Ryu won the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship by two shots over fellow South Korean Yoon Ina, finishing at 13-under 275 after a final-round two-under 70 at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota, on June 28, 2026. The victory earned Ryu $1.95 million from the tournament’s $13 million purse.
