Slater Nalley, a country singer-songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia, is making waves as a contestant on American Idol 2025. His musical journey began at the age of 14, performing around Leelanau County. His debut performance was at Dune Bird Winery, facilitated by his aunt and uncle, Nicole and Bo White, who were once the owners of the winery located north of Leland.

Currently, Nalley is completing his senior year at The Lovett School in Atlanta, Georgia. A “Lovett Lifer,” he has attended the school since Kindergarten and remains engaged in various extracurricular activities such as chorus and participation in the school musical.
