Erika Jayne finally set the record straight about her flirty encounter with Summer House’s Jesse Solomon.

Rumors of a hookup began to circulate last month after the two individuals were seen together at a private cocktail gathering in New York City. According to an anonymous source who spoke with People magazine, Jesse and a cast member from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills initially crossed paths at a rehearsal for the NBCUniversal Upfronts presentation on May 12. The insider suggested that they quickly formed a connection and later “hooked up” following Jesse’s May 14 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

Many speculated that the rumors might be true, including Amanda Batula from Summer House, highlighting that Erika had not publicly commented on the alleged hookup. However, Erika addressed the speculation during the June 13 episode of her podcast series, Diamonds in the Rough, with RHOBH alum Teddi Mellencamp.

“I guess you allegedly made out with Jesse,” Teddi told her co-host.

“To begin with, no, the purported hookup supposedly occurred at Watch What Happens Live in New York City after the Upfronts,” Erika stated. “I was at home. But here’s the detail: Was I interacting with two men [at Upfronts]? Yes, I was. Would I have preferred to take two home rather than one? Indeed.”

Erika revealed that the second man was Jesse’s castmate Carl Radke, who was also photographed with Erika in New York City.

“Oh, I love both of them,” Teddi said about the Summer House men. “OK, so you have to pick one.”

“I can’t,” Erika replied. “But my point is… for once in a decade, I actually talked to people that we work with, because I’m such a bitch every other time. You know me. But I’m trying to do more social things.” 

While there was no “hookup,” Erika said she thought Jesse and Carl were both easy on the eyes. 

“They’re both cute, but the taller one is cuter,” she continued. “I wish I had something exciting to tell you, but I don’t.”

It’s unclear which of the Hamptons Housemates Erika thought was more attractive, as they both stand 6 feet, 5 inches tall.

Erika shed more light on her romantic life in a January interview with The Daily Dish. The mother of one, who has yet to finalize her divorce from Tom Girardi, said she had spent time focusing on self-care and was at a stage where she was ready to date again.

“I have done a lot of work on myself and pulling myself together, rebuilding my life,” she said. “[It’s] a time to be open and to have fun.”
