This comes after the revelation that actors Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis wrote letters of support for Danny Masterson.

Masterson was recently convicted of raping two women in the early 2000s and was sentenced 30 years in prison. The letters of support from Kutcher and Kunis asked for leniency in Masterson’s sentencing before it even happened.

The letters of support states that Masterson is not an ongoing threat to society. Topher Grace has not made a public statement about the sentencing yet.

Ashley Hinshaw’s Instagram post sends a message of support to victims who may be retraumatized by society’s focus on the perpetrators.

Kutcher and Kunis addressed criticism they received for sending letters of support to the judge overseeing the Danny Masterson case.

In their social media message, Kutcher and Kunis, clarified that their letters of support were not meant to undermine the victims’ experiences or question the ruling, and apologized if that was the perception, CBS News reports.

Kutcher and Kunis’ letters of support for Masterson does not condone or excuse his actions.

Their intention of sending the letters of support was to express their personal experiences and interactions with him, which they believed were inconsistent with the accusations made against him, CBS News added.
