In a tragic turn of events, director and “All in the Family” actor Rob Reiner and his wife, Michelle Singer Reiner, were discovered deceased in their California residence on Sunday, as reported by various sources.

According to KTLA, the couple was found with what appeared to be stab wounds inside their Brentwood mansion. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to an emergency call, only to discover the distressing scene. Present at the time was the couple’s daughter, while their son, who is considered a potential suspect, reportedly fled before authorities arrived.

Rob Reiner was 78 years old, and his wife was 68.

While official confirmation from law enforcement regarding the suspected double homicide is pending, sources have informed People that their son, Nick Reiner, is alleged to have been involved in the incident. Nick has previously opened up about his struggles with drug addiction and periods of homelessness.

In a 2016 interview, Nick shared, “Now, I’ve been home for a really long time, and I’ve sort of gotten acclimated back to being in L.A. and being around my family.”
