Moreau Lake State Park in upstate New York remained closed to the public Monday as law enforcement agencies from local to federal entered a third day of searching for a 9-year-old girl who disappeared on a bike ride in the park.
Charlotte Sena, a 4th grader at the park for a weekend camping trip with family and friends, headed off for a last ride around a loop road at about 6:15 p.m. Saturday night and never returned, CrimeOnline reported. Her parents and others in the camping area began searching for her and found her abandoned bike at about 6:45 p.m.
Yesterday, 9-year-old Charlotte Sena went missing in Moreau State Park.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul met with family on Sunday and provided an update to reporters, promising that investigators would leave “no stone, no branch, no table, no cabin unturned, untouched, unexamined in our search to find Charlotte.”
State police issued a missing person alert Saturday night at about 9:30 and activated an Amber Alert about 12 hours later. Although they have provided no information about a possible suspect, Lt. Col Richard Mazzone said that “after that exhaustive search, if we couldn’t find her here, it was possible an abduction had taken place.”
Dozens of agents swarmed the 6,250-acre park on Sunday with dogs, drones, boats, and a helicopter.
Police had provided no new information by 9:30 a.m. Monday, but search teams were on the scene at the park, the Times Union reported.
Sena is described as about 4 feet 6 inches tall and 90 pounds with long, dirty blonde hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a tie-dye Pokemon shirt, dark blue pants, black crocs, and a gray bike helmet.
