The eleventh day of Sean “Diddy” Combs’s trial for sex trafficking and racketeering involves further discussion about the Molotov cocktail incident that damaged rapper Kid Cudi’s car back in January 2012, featuring testimonies from a Los Angeles police officer and an arson expert.
Judge Subramanian has refused Combs’ request for a mistrial. Combs’ legal team claims that the prosecution suggested, without proper basis, that Combs tampered with evidence related to the alleged arson. Defense attorney Alexandra Shapiro argues that the prosecution’s questions aim to imply that “Mr. Combs could use his wealth to evade justice.”
