Apparently the free coffee wasn’t enough.
Police in New Port Richey, Florida, are looking for a man who allegedly tossed a cup of hot coffee at an employee at a Dunkin’ drive-thru. It happened around 8:45 a.m. Sunday.
Cops say the man was given an extra cup of free coffee at the doughnut shop at 5524 U.S. HWY 19. Instead of saying “thank you,” the man reportedly threw the cup at her face, and it hit her. The woman sustained blisters, police said in a Facebook post. The suspect was driving a silver 4-door SUV. The department posted several photos of the man on Facebook.
It’s not clear if the man was upset because the staff messed up his order — or if he was just cranky because he hadn’t had his morning coffee.
