New York authorities said they are looking for two suspects — one who impersonated a UPS worker — to rob a family on Monday.

According to the New York Post, a male suspect wearing a brown hat with “UPS” on the front approached a Bronx family’s front door. The NYPD said a 60-year-old woman opened the door, prompting the suspect to force his way inside and brandish a gun.

A second man reportedly entered the home once the first suspect made his way inside. Police said the pair then demanded the woman, her 63-year-old husband, 8-year-old grandson, and 6-year-old granddaughter tie themselves up with zip ties.

“Don’t say anything, don’t do anything so we can get done quick,” one of the suspects stated, according to the Post.

WNBC reported that the suspects escaped with more than $7,500 that they took from a safe in the Bronx apartment, in addition to a child’s piggy bank, two iPhones, and personal documents.

None of the four victims in Monday’s robbery were hurt, according to reports.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
