A Florida man reportedly faces felony charges over a series of lewd video calls made to unsuspecting strangers throughout 2022.

Adam Smith admitted to police he made three illicit calls, according to a report on The Smoking Gun. The 35-year-old alleged pervert was said to have been masturbating when his seemingly random suspects answered his video calls.

One of Smith’s alleged victims took a screenshot of a Feb. 13 call that came from a Tennessee number, Sarasota Police claim. The suspect is said to be a Knoxville, Tenn., native. Two of Smith’s other victims in February claimed he contacted them from a Florida number. The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office connected Smith to those phone numbers via subpoenas to Verizon, Google, and the Pinger phone app, the Smoking Gun reports.

Cops said Smith confessed to “calling numerous random phone numbers and subsequently masturbating over video calls within the past two months” when he was questioned in late April.

In 2019, Smith was reportedly busted for pulling his car up next to a woman, who observed him gratifying himself in a similar fashion to what witnesses on FaceTime experienced. Due to that charge, and others, he is being hit with a felony count for his latest alleged act of exhibitionism.

Smith will be arraigned on June 3. He’s listed on a police report as being a painter by trade.
